Oh yeah, had a feeling that they would do this. Kroger does this with your bonus pay if you quit/lose your job after obtaining it if you’ve worked more than 3 months. I temporarily worked at a pharmacy warehouse owned by Kroger that did this. You had to sign a contract basically saying that money isn’t yours anymore if you quit or lose your job (can’t recall if it includes not being able to work for medical emergencies) and you’ll have to pay it back ASAP. Ended up not accepting that bonus pay “contract” while having to quit after a week after hitting 3 months because of medical reasons.
